Registration of Contractors - Assam Public Works (NH) Department Class I (A)
- If the applicant is a first time user, he/she needs to click the Register Tab provided in top right corner in this page and then get registered with the necessary fields such as Full Name, Mobile No., Email id (which is not mandatory), State and Password.
- Then the applicant needs to login with the credentials, by clicking the Login Tab.
- After the applicant has logged on to the system, he/she needs to click the Apply Online tab and select the service they want to apply for and click the apply button after going through the Requirements tab.
- Applicant has to fill up the form and upload the required supporting documents.
- After successful submission of the form, an acknowledgement will be generated containing the application reference no. .The application is then forwarded to higher officials for further processes. The same will be notified over SMS and Email id of the applicant.
- An applicant can view and track the status of the application by clicking the Track button and entering the applicant’s application reference no.
- In case, if there are any discrepancies or mismatch found in the online application, the applicant needs to makes the necessary corrections in the online application or has to apply through a fresh online application. The applicant will be notified about this over SMS and Email id by the concerned official.
- If all processes are correct than a date is assigned for Physical inspection. The applicant will get notified about the inspection details over SMS and Email.
- If the Inspection is successful, the applicant will be notified to pay the requisite animal tax and application fee over SMS and Email.
- After successful submission of documents, the Certiciate will be generated and the applicant can download it from the ARTPS portal. The same will be notified to the applicant over SMS and Email.

4) Up-to date Labour License (for construction work)
5) Up-to Date Bank Solvency Certificate
6) Address proof (i.e Electricity Bill/Voter ID/ Driving Licence/Passport)

7) Police Verification Report/Valid Passport
8) Caste Certificate (if applicable)
9) Recent passport size photograph

11) Work orders and work done/work completion certificate as Prime Contractor
in other Govt. Deptt./Govt. Undertaking/ Board/Committee/ Govt.
Corporation /Central Public Enterprise under Govt. of India reflecting nature of
work demonstrating experience for last 5 (five) years.
12) Documents in respect of execution of NH works having minimum value

B. Fresh Registration under Class-I(C) Category for Un-employed Graduate Engineer:-
1) Court Fee Rs. 8.25/-
2) GST Certificate (including upto date GST clearance certificate)

4) Up-to date Labour License (for construction work)
5) Up-to Date Bank Solvency Certificate
6) Address proof (i.e Electricity Bill/Voter ID/ Driving Licence/Passport)

10) Qualification certificate (Pass certificate from AICTE’s approved Institute) and
One Court Affidavit for un-employment.
11) All document must be dully attested
12) Declaration with pass Certificate of Technical Person:
Un-employee Graduate Engineer other than B.E/B.Tech(C) will have to submit
Declaration one from one J.E(C) and one B.E(C) as Technical Person with pass
certificate of them.
13) Machineries :(either owned or lease/hire):

b) The Contactor/Firm/Company is requested to submit the FDR pledged to the Chief
Engineer, PWD, (NH Works) Assam, Chandmari, Guwahati-3 as Security Deposit
money (minimum 1 Year) after approval by the undersigned.

c) The FDR must be submitted within 1 month from the issue date of approval letter.
Note: In case any adverse report is found against Contractor/Firm/Company the Registration will be terminated, no claim will be entertained in this regard.
Stipulated Time Limit : 30 (Thirty) working days from the date of submission of application
Fees :
- Service charge (through PFC/CSC) - Rs. 30.
- Printing charge (in case of any printing from PFC/CSC) - Rs. 10 per page.
- Scanning charge (in case documents are scanned in PFC/CSC) - Rs. 5 per page.
